Isabel Torres is a Portuguese session musician based in London who has worked with artists including Declan McKenna, Mimi Webb, DYLAN, Caity Baser, Biig Piig and Tom Aspaul.
Performing guitar, backing vocals, keys and bass, Isabel has done sessions on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, VEVO DSCVR, Rolling Stone and Billboard. She has also had appearances on TV shows such as 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' (CBC), 'Conan' (TBS), 'Later with Jools Holland' (BBC2), 'The Ellen Show' (NBC) and 'Late Show with Stephen Colbert' (CBS).
In 2020, Isabel recorded guitar and backing vocals on Declan McKenna’s album ‘Zeros’ released by Columbia Records which peaked at Number 2 in the UK charts. She had previously recorded on The Kinks 50th anniversary ‘Something Else’ album and singles such as ‘Out of Love’ and ‘Fools’.
Isabel has extensive touring experience having toured internationally with various artists. She has performed multiple times at festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Reading and Leeds. She also played on support tours with Muse, Foals and The Head and the Heart, among others.
Besides her pop session career, Isabel has played in various musical theatre productions namely West End show 'SIX The Musical', 'American Idiot' and 'Wasted'. She also featured in the official demo adverts for guitar companies such as Fender, BOSS and Paul Reed Smith, by whom she is endorsed.
